Wynonna’s Got Soul & New Dates

Wynonna has set dates for her holiday tour, an excursion that celebrates the special little things about the season. In addition to the outing, dubbed “A Simpler Christmas,” the singer is promoting her new shoe line inspired by fans and her favorite tour sneakers.

The shoe line, called Got Soul, features bedazzled sneakers, wedges and flats. An announcement says the collection will be available at Fred Segal LA and boutiques throughout the states just in time for the holidays.

Wynonna talked to Women’s Wear Daily’s Footwear News about how she dreamed up the shoe line.

“I’m on stage, and I hear from the audience, ‘Oh my god, your shoes. [Fans kept saying] the same thing at meet-and-greets. All of a sudden, it was like, ‘bling!’ literally and figuratively. Every woman needs to feel sparkly at some point.”

She added, “It wasn’t a marketing thing. I’ve been offered all kinds of deals, but it truly has to be something that’s really me. I wear [fashion sneakers] every night on stage for my two-hour show, so it started authentically, and I’m really proud of that. It’s a very personal love affair with the fans.”

You can catch Wynonna discussing Got Soul and her “A Simpler Christmas” tour on CBS’s “The Talk” Oct. 28.

The tour will feature Christmas favorite along with some of her greatest hits.
