Happy Anniversary Blink-182!

Blink-182 is celebrating its 10th anniversary with two special shows next month. Fans know the pop punk band has been around far longer than a decade. We’re actually talking about the band’s self-titled 2003 studio album.

To mark the anniversary of the release of Blink’s fifth full-length album, the band will perform the LP in full at the Hollywood Palladium Nov. 6-7.

All three of the guys have prepared quotes for this momentous occasion.

“The Blink-182 album was a sea change in our band,” Mark Hoppus said. “The way we wrote songs, performed, and thought of ourselves evolved into something deeper than it had ever been before. The recording process was special. We used all original vintage equipment and recording techniques. Echo chambers were built into showers stalls. Flanging sounds by running the tape between two machines. It was intensely personal process for all of us. Ten years on, it still holds a special place.”

Travis Barker adds, “Our self-titled album is defiantly an album we’re really proud of and to celebrate its 10 year anniversary by playing this album in its entirety is going to be hella special.”

Tom DeLonge has some news to share about the band’s fan club.

“I am proud and excited to announce that we will be launching the highly anticipated and robust Blink-182 fan club, The Rabbit Hole. We will have a collision of limited edition merchandise, ticketing and digital services exclusively to Rabbit Hole members. Consider us your new doctor, and we will be giving you daily physical exams.”

Now that you’ve got your fill of quotes, let’s talk tickets.
