Karmin Announces ‘Pulses’ Dates
Pulses is due out in early 2014. In July Karmin released the LP’s first single, “Acapella,” and since then the official video has been viewed more than 10.5 million times. If you’ve somehow avoided seeing it yet, check it out below.
Although the duo, which mixes hip hop, pop and rock, got their start online as a “viral sensation,” they’ve had no problem translating the excitement to the stage.
The Cleveland Leader writes, “Karmin has successfully taken their career to the next level … and they did not disappoint fans with their live show.” In the Houston Press’ review, the paper notes, “It doesn’t hurt that Heideman has a set of pipes that can rival Warped Tour-era Katy Perry, with the energy of Paramore’s Hayley Williams and looks that could kill. And of course, she can rap her ass off.”
