Canada Venue Gets Credit
A 6,000-capacity arena under construction in St. Catharine’s, Ontario, will be dubbed the Meridian Centre, thanks to a $5.2 million contribution by Meridian Credit Union.

Expected to open by Sept. 2014, the $50 million, multipurpose facility will serve as home ice for the Niagara IceDogs and accommodate concerts, conventions and family shows, according to the St. Catharines Standard.
