Arctic Monkeys Book 2014 U.S. Dates

Instead of postponing more appearances, Arctic Monkeys is adding dates to its itinerary. The new gigs take the band’s U.S. tour into 2014, including stops in Boston, Orlando, Detroit and its biggest headline show at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York.

During the past several days Arctic Monkeys have been busy calling off shows because vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Alex Turner has come down with a case of laryngitis and can’t perform. The band’s Oct. 31 and Nov. 1-2 gigs in the United Kingdom were pushed back to later this month while the Nov. 4 show in Offenbach, Germany, was canceled altogether.

The band – which is supporting its 2013 release, AM – is due back on stage tonight (Nov. 5) in Berlin. European gigs are scheduled through Nov. 21.
