Overdose Death Not Molly
Autopsy results show the death of a 21-year-old man at a June concert at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash., was related to methamphetamine and not Molly.
Officials initially thought Patrick Witkowski of Des Moines died June 30 because of an overdose of the form of Ecstasy.
However, a coroner’s report showed Witkowski died of organ failure because of a combination of dehydration, heat and methamphetamine intoxication.
About 25,000 attended the two-day Paradiso Festival. About 40 people were treated for problems related to drugs and alcohol.
