Billy Joel Announces MSG Show

Billy Joel will be taking a Greyhound on the Hudson River line come January because he’s in a New York state of mind. As he continues to add dates one-by-one, the latest gig will find the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time back at Madison Square Garden.

The Jan. 27 gig marks Joel’s return to the venue since appearing at the “12-12-12” Hurricane Sandy benefit. The last time the Piano Man headlined The Garden was in 2006 when his sold-out 12-night residency broke the record for the venue’s “longest run of a single artist.”
