Officials for the University of Mississippi in Oxford have finalized a loan to build a new basketball arena on campus.

The venue will reportedly seat about 9,500 fans and plans include a five-story parking garage at the south end of the arena.
Construction on the building is slated to begin in spring 2014 with a goal of opening by January 2016.
