Dolly Adds ‘Blue Smoke’ Dates In The USA

Dolly Parton wants to make sure her American fans know she didn’t forget about them. She’s added another round of U.S. dates to her “Blue Smoke World Tour,” as well as additional performances in Australia and New Zealand.  

“You didn’t think I forgot about you, did you?” Dolly wrote in an announcement sent out today (complete with a happy face). “It’s always great to perform at home in the good ol’ USA. We’re kicking off our Blue Smoke World Tour right here at home. I love traveling all over the world; but it’s true, there’s nothing like home! I can’t wait to see you soon, America!”

The Blue Smoke World Tour kicks off Jan. 24 in Rancho Mirage, Calif., at The Show At Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa. New U.S. stops include two nights in Catoosa, Okla., and gigs in Richmond, Ky., and Knoxville, Tenn.

The outing downunder launches Feb. 7 in Auckland, New Zealand, at Vector Arena. Fans in Auckland, Melbourne and Boondall will have two chances to catch Dolly on tour with second shows added in each city. The new gigs are scheduled Feb. 8 in Auckland at Vector Arena; Feb. 12 in Melbourne, Australia, at Rod Laver Arena; and Feb. 22 in Boondall, Australia, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
