Crazy Horse is due to top the bill July 12 with support from The National, Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose, Phosphorescent, and Flyte.
McBusted’s headline appearance is July 6, when Backstreet Boys will lead the supporting lineup. McBusted is a British supergroup of sorts with members of both McFly and Busted.
As AEG’s summer season in Hyde Park runs July 4-13, several more acts are likely to be announced soon.
AEG Live, which is promoting shows in the London park for the second time since taking the contract previously held by Live Nation, has also revealed details of three one-day fests for Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light (June 22), Ipswich’s Chantry Park (June 28) and on the beach at Weston-Super-Mare ( June 29).
The acts already announced for all three events include Jessie J, Jason DeRulo, Rizzle Kicks, The Saturdays, The Vamps, and Union J. In a week when many of the UK fests have started to reveal their hands, Isle Of Wight (June 12-16) has an exclusive 2014 festival appearance from Biffy Clyro.
