Gary Numan puts on his travelin’ shoes for a coast-to-coast outing beginning in Southern California in early March. This time out the electro/industrial pioneer is going for a carnival atmosphere that includes performances by Big Black Delta and Roman Remains.

It’s been more than 30 years since Numan became an overnight sensation with his hit single “Cars” after spending nearly a decade promoting himself as the Tubeway Army. During his career Numan has released 20 studio albums. His latest long-player, Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind) was released on his own Machine Music imprint and was co-produced with Ade Fenton and features guitarist Nine Inch Nails axeman Robin Finck.
Playing mostly clubs, Numan embarks on his latest journey when he plays a gig north of San Diego in the oceanside community called Solana Beach. From there he heads eastward for a string of concerts including a stop at Austin’s SXSW. Here are the dates:
