LA’s New Latin Fest

Los Angeles is getting a Latin music festival thanks to a new collaboration between Goldenvoice and Cookman, which produces the annual Latin Alternative Music Conference in New York City.

Supersonico is slated to feature numerous genres and a wide variety of artists from the Latin world and beyond during a multilingual outdoor music festival at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in downtown Los Angeles in 2014.

The fest will also feature art, food and entertainment.

Cookman’s five-day LAMC has included large-scale concerts in Central Park and Prospect Park during the last 15 years.

Goldenvoice is the creator of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach Country Music Festival. The promoter also operates several venues in California including Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, and The Warfield in San Francisco.
