North Coast Music Festival Announces No. 5

The North Coast Music Festival is gearing up for its fifth anniversary. The Chicago music festival that likes to refer to itself as “summer’s last stand” will take place during the last week of August.

Known for presenting a diverse range of established as well as up-and-coming artists, North Coast will take place Aug. 29-31 at the Windy City’s Union Park.

Like many initial festival proclamations, North Coast’s group of indie promoters did not release a lineup with today’s announcement. The festival’s 2013 list of acts included Wu-Tang Clan, Big Gigantic, Passion Pit, Nas, Gary Clark, Jr., and Lotus.
