Infamous Mobb Deep Dates

Hip hop stars – they’re just like you! As 2013 winds down and you reflect on the past while looking forward to what’s next, Mobb Deep is doing the same with its eighth album. The release includes a remastered version of The Infamous along with a new set of tunes.

The Infamous Mobb Deep is due out in March. Havoc and Prodigy announced that in addition to the new music and digitally remastered version of the classic 1995 album, the duo is celebrating the upcoming 20th anniversary of The Infamous by throwing in 10 unreleased songs from the recording session.

The celebration will continue with a world tour in 2014.

During an interview with the Huffington Post, Havoc explained that he said a lot of things he didn’t mean during the 2012 Twitter blowout that resulted in the group’s hiatus. Prodigy noted that in addition to years of friendship mending the falling-out, time in the studio also brought the guys back together.

“Once you hear the rhymes … hear the first beat, all the beef is gone,” Prodigy said.
