NJ Fans Can Apply Now For Tickets

Eligible concertgoers who attended shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J., can now apply for free tickets under a preliminary settlement with Live Nation regarding padded ticket fees at the shed.

A hearing to finalize the settlement doesn’t take place until March 28, but anyone who bought tickets online between June 23, 2003, and June 15, 2011, for shows at the venue can claim three free lawn tickets as well as $5 discount coupon codes.

Live Nation estimates nearly 363,000 people are eligible to claim the tickets and coupons.

A company attorney told the Star-Ledger that fans have already been notified of their eligibility.

A class action suit was filed in 2009 against Live Nation claiming that mandatory $6 parking fees violated consumer protection laws.

The settlement was approved last month.
