Atlanta Club Owner Shot Dead

A second man was shot in the back.
Police are investigating a motive.
The name of the owner was not released at press time.
Mike McGee, who was renovating the club along with his 15-year-old son, said the owner asked him to help with a dead car battery that afternoon.
“As soon as we connected the battery cables, [two gunmen] turned the corner and started shooting,” McGee told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “There was nothing nobody could do.”
He said the owner died after being shot, and another was shot in the back.
McGee’s son got away by jumping a fence, breaking his leg in the process.
“Only reason I got away was because I was laying down playing dead,” McGee said.
