S. Korea Boy Band Member’s Father, Grandparents Dead

Reports say the father and grandparents of a member of South Korean boy band Super Junior have died in a suspected murder-suicide.

The Chosun Ilbo newspaper reported on its website Tuesday that Lee Teuk’s grandparents were found dead in bed while his father was hanging by a rope around his neck at their Seoul home Monday.

The newspaper cited an unidentified police officer as saying Lee’s father left a suicide note suggesting he killed himself after strangling his parents.

Other South Korean media carried similar reports.

Seoul police couldn’t immediately confirm the reports.
