Teen Surrenders In Shooting Of Wiz Khalifa’s Uncle

Police have identified the suspect who has surrendered in the shooting death of rapper Wiz Khalifa’s uncle in the parking lot of a Pittsburgh-area fast food restaurant.

Police say 17-year-old Jaron Young, of Penn Hills, is charged as an adult with criminal homicide in the Wednesday night shooting of 20-year-old Imani Porter.

Porter, of Pittsburgh, was parked in a Steak ‘n Shake parking lot in suburban Munhall when he was shot. He died at a hospital Thursday.

Allegheny County homicide detectives believe Porter planned to sell heroin to Young and another still-unidentified suspect when he was, instead, shot in the head.

Khalifa has tweeted that his “uncle was younger and more level-headed than all of us.”
