Sevendust Exits Soundwave
Sevendust has exited Australian hard rock festival Soundwave over what event promoter AJ Maddah claimed was a dispute over money.

Maddah tweeted Jan. 11, “They confirmed and then yesterday said you either give us a lot more money or we’ll cancel. They contacted us yesterday asking for more money again and we had to draw the line somewhere.”
He added he would never work with the band again: “You don’t negotiate w (sic) terrorists.”
Sevendust’s own statement cited “issues out of our control” and included “Apologies to our Australian fans, we hope to see you soon.”
Soundwave, headlined by Green Day, plays five outdoor shows Feb. 22 to March 3.
