Industry Noize: C3 Taps Shay

Matt Shay has been named president of C3 Management by Austin-based C3 Presents after three years at Zeitgeist Artist Management.

Brian Beck also joins C3 Management from Zeitgeist.

Shay will continue to co-manage The Head And The Heart and MS MR.

Prior to Zeitgeist, Shay was a senior VP of A&R/marketing with RCA Music Group, where he signed Pearl Jam and worked on debut campaigns for Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys, among others.

Beck also has management and label background with Black Seal/RCA and Astralwerks Records included in his resume.
