Pollstar is excited to announce that comedian Henry Cho will host the 25th Annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards on Friday, Feb. 21, at the  in Nashville. 

Cho has made numerous film, television and radio appearances and is also featured in his own one-hour Comedy Central special, “What’s That Clickin Noise?”

He is a Grand Ole Opry regular and has worked with everyone from Willie Nelson to Carrie Underwood

The Awards will serve as the culmination of the Feb. 19-21 Pollstar Live! Conference in downtown Nashville.

The 850-room Omni Hotel is sold out for the conference.

A limited number of discounted rooms at the adjacent Hyatt Place Hotel are still available but going fast.

Spiked by overwhelming interest in the two keynote speeches by promoter Michael Cohl and author Malcolm Gladwell, more than 1,000 people have already registered for the conference.

This year’s conference will have a number of new or expanded elements.

A panel on “The Explosive Growth Of The China Market” will feature a live video link to China where some of the most important players in the Asian music business will share their thoughts with those in Nashville.

Turning the tables, musician  will conduct an interview with Patrick Whitesell, who is the co-CEO of William Morris Endeavor alongside Ari Emanuel.

Taking advantage of our Music City location, a number of booking agencies will be inviting delegates to see evening showcases with their clients at clubs around town.

Last year’s inaugural “Meet The Agents” session was a huge hit and is being expanded this year.

“Meet Agents, Make Deals & Free Beer” will be the last convention event leading into the Awards at the Ryman.
