Bryan Ferry Can’t Let Go

Bryan Ferry tweeted Jan. 10, “Looking forward to seeing you all at this year … more US dates on the horizon.” As promised, more U.S. dates have been booked along with a stop in Vancouver.

The “Can’t Let Go Tour” is concentrated on the West Coast with gigs in Seattle, Portland, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.

The setlist will feature tunes from throughout Ferry’s 40-year career including “hits, favorites and rarities,” according to an announcement on the Facebook page for Oakland’s Fox Theater.

The Roxy Music frontman had such a good time releasing 2012’s The Jazz Age with The Bryan Ferry Orchestra that it’s inspired him to hit the studio to work on new material.

The Jazz Age puts a 1920s jazz spin on 13 of Ferry’s previous compositions. The LP includes re-recordings of 1977’s “This Is Tomorrow,” 2010’s “Reason Or Rhyme,” 1975’s “Love Is The Drug” and Roxy Music’s debut 1972 single, “Virginia Plain.”
