Industry Noize: Semrau Asst. GM At Sanford Center

Chris Semrau has been named assistant GM of Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., as well as other SMG-managed venues in the area.

Semrau has been director of events and marketing at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., since 2000 and helped open the facility.

He will handle booking the new facility, which opens in September, along with the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center and Orpheum Theater Center.

He has been named assistant GM for all facilities.
