Cope is the name of Manchester Orchestra’s upcoming album scheduled to drop April 1 through a recent partnership between Loma Vista Recordings and the band’s own Favorite Gentlemen Recordings.  The long-player was recorded in an old house where the band used to live.  Band members spent six months gutting and then rehabbing the house before building their own recording studio inside the building.  Cope was self-produced alongside longtime collaborating partner Dan Hannon and mixed by John Agnello at Brooklyn’s Fluxivity Studios.

Manchester Orchestra has one show in March – Anchorage, Ak., before embarking on the U.K. journey beginning in Bristol, England, at the Fleece April 7.  The band returns to the U.S. beginning with a gig in Tampa, at The Ritz April 17.
