Interpol Returns To The Road
During the 2011 interview with Gigwise Fogarino added, “Who knows what is ahead for the band, I think we’re all just looking forward to relaxing for a while and catching up with our own things.”
So, what’s ahead for the band? Along with the U.K. tour, fans can look forward to a new album from the band. Interpol is working on the follow-up to its 2010 self-titled release.
This week the New York-based indie rock band announced, “We currently find ourselves in the UK finishing the new album so it feels only appropriate to announce our first UK dates of 2014 from here. We’re pleased to say that we’ll be headlining this year’s NME Awards Tour. We had a great time playing the Awards Tour in 2003 and we’re very much looking forward to our return. It should be a lot of fun. The UK crowds are among the best!”

March 19 – Leeds, United Kingdom, O2 Academy Leeds
