No stranger when it comes to performing in ballparks, Billy Joel will play legendary Fenway Park in Boston in June. Tickets for the Piano Man’s first Beantown gig in five years go on sale next week.

So far Joel’s June 26 Fenway show is the fourth ball park on the schedule. His touring calendar has him playing Wrigley Field in Chicago July 18; Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., July 26; and Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park Aug. 2.

“It’s an honor to bring Billy Joel Back to Boston and have him play historic Fenway Park,” Don Law, Live Nation president New England, said. “His music transcends generations. This will be an event that fans will remember for years to come.”
