James Taylor Adds May, June Shows

There’s good news for fans of James Taylor today as the singer/songwriter adds eight U.S. gigs to his 2014 schedule.  Beginning in Portland, Ore., in late May, stops include Seattle, Phoenix, Wichita and Albuquerque.

So far this year Taylor’s calendar has been heavy on U.K. and Europe dates scheduled to take place after he crosses the Atlantic aboard the Queen Mary 2 in late August/early September.  While his newly announced shows don’t necessarily represent an extensive North American tour, his upcoming journey will cover a significant portion of the western United States before Taylor heads eastward for engagements in Nebraska and Ohio.

Here are the new shows:

May 30 – Portland, Ore., Moda Center
May 31 – Seattle, Wash., KeyArena At Seattle Center
June 10 – Phoenix, Ariz., US Airways Center
June 11 – Albuquerque, N.M., Sandia Casino Amphitheater
June 15 – Grand Prairie, Texas, Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie
June 20 – Wichita, Kan., Intrust Bank Arena
June 21 – Lincoln, Neb., Pinnacle Bank Arena
June 29 – Columbus, Ohio, Schottenstein Center

Previously announced are two shows Taylor is scheduled to play at Tanglewood in Lenox, Mass., July 3 & 4.
