Richter Returns To Ironstone

Richter Entertainment Group returns to Ironstone Vineyards after a two-year absence to book and operate its 6,700-capacity amphitheatre near Murphys, Calif., in the Sierra Nevada foothill Mother Lode country.

A full house at Ironstone Vineyards amphitheatre settles in for a show in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Murphys, Calif.

The multi-year deal took effect Jan. 1.

Ironstone Vineyards annually hosts a popular summer concert series, and REG is in the process of booking for 2014.

During six of the seven previous years that REG booked the shed, the family-owned Ironstone landed in Pollstar’s Top 100 Worldwide Amphitheatre rankings.

“We have a terrific history at Ironstone,” talent buyer Larry Richter said. “I always hoped we’d get to return, and couldn’t be happier to be back at this world-class amphitheatre. We have a long-term vision for the venue and, over the next few years, people can look forward to some great outdoor concert experiences in Northern California’s most beautiful venue.”

REG will be the sole talent buyer, promoter and producer of the Ironstone Vineyards Concert Series that runs from June through September.

Artists who have previously performed at Ironstone include Don Henley, John Fogerty, Heart, Tony Bennett and Jackie Evancho, Reba, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Clarkson, and Ironstone Vineyards.
