Industry Noize: Page Upped To President
“John has done an outstanding job of helping to make Global Spectrum the finest facility management company in North America,” said Comcast-Spectacor chair Ed Snider.
“Naming John as President is a natural progression of the tremendous work he continues to do for our company. We are excited about the possibilities for Global Spectrum and we have the best in the business running the company for us.”
Page has been with Global Spectrum since 1993, when he joined the company as an event coordinator. Over the years he served as vice president of event production and as senior VP.
Global Spectrum did not have a president. As COO, Page reported to Comcast- Spectacor President Peter Luukko. With the latter role now in the hands of Dave Scott, the company decided it was a good time to name Page president of the subsidiary. Other Comcast-Spectacor subsidiaries – Ovations Food Service, New Era Tickets, and Paciolan, have presidents and the company decided it was time for Page to have the same title.
