Elbow In The Spring

Elbow returns to North America for a brief run beginning May.  Touring in support of its new, yet-to-be-released album, the British band begins the road trip in Washington, D.C., and wraps in Los Angeles.  Tickets go on sale later this week.

Fans will have plenty of time to sample the band’s new music.  Elbow’s upcoming long player is The Take Off And Landing Of Everything, due to land in stores in the U.S. March 11 on Concord Music Group.  Produced by Elbow keyboardist Craig Potter, the album was recorded in England at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Box, Wiltshire, and at Blueprint Studios in Salford.  The first single from the album is “New York Morning.”

The May adventure follows Elbow’s April tour of the United Kingdom.  Here’s the plan:
