ESA Guide On Sale
The Event Safety Alliance manual of best practices for the live event industry is now available to purchase for download at the organization’s website.
The guide, culled from existing safety standards and the insight of top industry professionals, is intended to help industry pros recognize and implement workplace safety measures including emergency planning, weather preparedness and fire safety.
It also covers specific technical issues such as pyrotechnics, rigging and temporary staging.
Fireman Fund Insurance Co.’s Lauren Bailey – who sits on the board of ESA – will be at Pollstar Live! Feb. 21, along with fellow directors Jim Digby and Charlie Hernandez, for a panel called “The Essential Promoter’s Survival Guide” to discuss the guide and what it means to everyone involved in staging live events.
