Rockapalooza Sentencing
The promoter for Rockapalooza is scheduled to be sentenced March 20 for issuing bad checks to vendors.
Tim Corser, who promoted the Jackson, Miss., event, pleaded guilty to two counts of issuing checks for $500 or more without sufficient funds with the intent to defraud.
Corser said he made a “bad business move” by counting on sponsorship revenue that was yet to be paid, according to Jackson Citizen-Patriot, and said the festival will not return to the city.
