INXS Back In Spotlight
Four months after INXS suddenly announced it was giving up touring, the band is back in the spotlight.
YouTube frame capture of the band performing at the Perth Arena.
A two-part biopic about the band’s rise to global acclaim in the 1980s, “Never Tear Us Apart,” screened on free to air Seven Network Feb. 9-10 and topped the ratings with nearly 2 million viewers each night.
Meanwhile, a Very Best Of set was certified double platinum, and eight INXS albums entered the iTunes Top 20.
The biopic was the brainchild of longtime manager and strategist Chris Murphy, who has self-published a warts-and-all autobiography titled “Murphy.”
