Acoustic Evenings With Jason Mraz

Jason Mraz has planned a rare acoustic excursion in the lead-up to the release of his next album. The San Diego-based singer/songwriter will be sticking to the West Coast on the brief March tour with the majority of gigs scheduled in the Golden State.

Mraz is working on the follow-up to his fourth studio album, 2012’s Love Is A Four Letter Word. The new LP is due out later this year.

Before the acoustic tour begins Mraz will take the stage with Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Heart and others at the “All For The Hall” benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum March 4 at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia at L.A. Live.

The West Coast outing launches March 15 in Santa Cruz, Calif. Mraz’s close friends, Los Angeles-based Raining Jane, are joining him on the road.

“After many long weeks experimenting in the studio, we’re ready to test our creations on the road,” Mraz wrote on his website. “West Coast here we come! Be a #yes & join us in March for an intimate run of shows and experience some of what’s to come on #album5!”
