Matt Pond PA’s Anniversary Run
A decade after the release of the album Paste Magazine called “a lush, haunting collection of superbly crafted chamber pop” it’s kind of surprising that Pond and the band have never played all of the songs on the disc in concert. So the upcoming road trip will be a new experience for the artist as well as the fans.
“We’ve never played all the songs on Emblems in front of a live human audience, so this is definitely exciting,” Pond said. “I wrote the album when I first started drifting between New York and Philly. Since I haven’t stopped drifting, it feels as relevant as it did 10 years ago.”
Fans now have a chance to play an important role in Pond’s next album. The indie rocker has launched a pre-order for The State Of Gold via Pledge Music where you can catch glimpses of the recording process, early mixes, exclusive content and other cool things. Click here for more info.
