Help In The Head From The Faint

Get ready to welcome back The Faint. PR reps for the band note that the birth of the indie rockers’ upcoming new album “is in parallel with a rebirth of the band itself.” The act has locked down more than two dozen spring dates in support of its sixth full-length.

Doom Abuse is due out April 8 on SQE Music. The LP is the band’s first full-length since 2008’s Fasciinatiion.

The band debuted the song “Help In The Head” today on NPR’s “All Songs Considered.” NPR raves that “the bold, static-laced opening track sets the stage for a great comeback album.”

Check out the tune for yourself with the official video below.

“Help In The Head” is available as a free download now with all preorders of Doom Abuse via iTunes. And that’s not all. If you preorder the album through iTunes you’ll get a downloadable track every week leading up to the LP’s release.
