Currently working on a new album slated for a summer release, The Dirty Heads will skip Wyoming even though a recent item by Music Machinery’s Paul Lamere identified the band as the Equality State’s favorite group.  Guess those making routing decisions should always check with bloggers before nailing down an itinerary.  Oh, well, maybe next time.

But fans in several states will have a chance to catch up with the Dirty Heads.  Here’s the routing:

April 3 – New Haven, Conn., Toad’s Place
April 4 – Providence, R.I., Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel
April 5 – Atlantic City, N.J., Atlantic City Convention Center
April 6 – Northampton, Ma., Pearl Street
April 7 – South Burlington, Vt., Higher Ground
April 9 – Clifton Park, N.Y., Upstate Concert Hall
April 10 – Stroudsburg, Pa., Sherman Theater
April 11 – Raleigh, N.C., Lincoln Theatre
April 13 – Columbus, Ohio, Newport Music Hall
April 16 – Urbana, Ill., The Canopy Club
April 17 – Indianapolis, Ind., The Vogue

Some shows go on sale March 1.  The band is currently conducting a promotion where fans uploading their Dirty Heads-inspired artwork just might see their creation on an exclusive piece of merch plus tickets to a show, a meet-and-greet and $200 in cold hard cash.  Check out DirtyHeads.com for more information.
