KiLLeR DWaRFs Still Killing It

Rising out of Toronto in 1981, the Killer Dwarfs has seen its share of musicians come and go over the decades, but the heavy metal band is still keepin’ the faith.

The group has made a lot of history over the years.  From its first single, the anthem “Keep The Spirit Alive,” to its 2013 album STaRT @ oNe, the Killer Dwarfs’ timeline includes extensive MTV airplay, recording for major labels, racking up a few Juno noms and playing some of the largest venues throughout the world.

Who’s in Killer Dwarfs these days?  Keeping the longtime tradition of each member adopting the surname “Dwarf,” today’s lineup features founding members Russ “Dwarf” Graham on vocals and Darrell “Dwarf” Millar on drums/vocals along with Gerry “Cod Dwarf” Finn on guitar/vocals and Johnny “Dwarf” Fenton on bass.  STaRT @ oNe includes appearances by Fred Duvall on vocals, keyboardist John “Skully” MacIntosh, and Cosmio Crupi on keyboards/vocals.

Perhaps your first Killer Dwarfs experience was when the band toured supporting Iron Maiden in the late ‘80s, saw the group’s videos on MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” or sang along with the radio to songs like “Doesn’t Matter,” “Stand Tall” and “Driftin’ Back.”  The Killer Dwarfs continue to rock, showing no signs of slowing down.
