Primus Stays On The Road

Turns out there’s more to Primus’ 2014 touring plans than a few festivals, three nights in Las Vegas and a gig with Queens Of The Stone Age.  The band just announced a string of shows ranging from mid-May to late June with presales beginning this week.

Already on Primus’ schedule is the band’s appearance at in Papanthla de Olarte, Mexico, March 21 on a lineup that also includes Tool, Puscifer and Tomahawk. Other previously announced shows include May 1-3 at Las Vegas’ Brooklyn Bowl and May 13 with QOTSA at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City. 

Primus has now plotted a journey that includes a generous serving of shows in America’s Southern states as well as a Midwest stop and several dates on the Atlantic seaboard. Here’s what’s on the books.  New dates are bolded for your easy perusal.

Shows billed as “An Evening With Primus” are May 1-3, 14-20, June 24-25 & 29.  Beats Antique appears May 21-22 and The Dean Ween Group appears June 27-28.
