Called Black Hours, the album arrives May 5 globally and May 6 in North America.  Although it’s Leithauser’s debut solo effort, he did invite a few friends to appear on the disc, including Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij, Morgan Henderson from Fleet Foxes, The Shins’ Richard Swift and The Walkmen’s own Paul Maroon.

“Alexandra” is the album’s first single.  The video for the song was helmed by SXSW Film Festival Grand Jury award-winning director Tristan Patterson.
