EDC Sets Record
Electric Daisy Carnival – the massive Las Vegas EDM event put on by Insomniac in June – has already sold out all of its VIP and general admission tickets in record time.
The event, to be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 20-22, sold all of its tickets prior to the release of a musical lineup. Insomniac anticipates more than 400,000 people will attend this year’s version.
Last year’s event spanned 1,000 acres inside the speedway and included seven stages along with the many art projects, Ferris wheels and 500 theatrical performers.
“An event like this doesn’t sell out without the support of loyal, passionate fans, and we’ve got the best ones out there,” Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella said. “Many of this year’s new elements and surprises are directly inspired by them. I’m so grateful for their dedication, and I want to give them the adventure of a lifetime.”
