Spiritbank In Transition

, a 4,500-capacity venue in the Tulsa, Okla., market that opened in 2008, is apparently losing its facility manager at the end of April and, after that, it’s uncertain what the future holds.

Global Spectrum will not be booking shows at the venue after April 30 and the company’s Shashank Gairola, who was GM at Spiritbank, has accepted a new position in Tallahassee, Fla. The venue is owned by Oklahoma community bank Spiritbank, and a representative of the company told Pollstar it was premature to discuss the venue’s options.

This could very well just be a case of one facility operator leaving a building and letting another one come in. However, since the venue opened it has seen competition from nearby casinos and has had to work past Tulsa’s deficiency of sports teams.
