Industry Noize: Micone Leaving Paradigm

Industry vet Ed Micone is exiting his position at Paradigm at the end of the month to return to live event and television production.

Micone has finalized a deal to create and produce new entertainment properties in association with Stillwell Partners, the founders of Advertising Week.

Micone, who was head of Radio City Entertainment’s entertainment and concert production division for 14 years, joined Paradigm in 2007 as head of the casino division.

Micone’s Paradigm clients – including Joy Behar, Julio Iglesias and Susie Essman – will remain with the agency.

Micone will continue as a consultant to the casino entertainment industury.

“It was an incredibly tough decision to move on from my clients and colleagues at Paradigm, who challenged and kept me going every day,” Micone said. “But after 42 years in the entertainment business, I really needed to return to my true passion for creating and producing live events and entertainment properties. I am indebted to [Paradigm CEO Sam Gores] and the entire team at the agency who have helped make my time at the company memorable, successful and personally and professionally rewarding.”
