Stones To Play Circus Maximus

News of The Rolling Stones’ summer shows continues to dribble out and the latest firm date is in Rome June 22 at the Circus Maximus, originally an ancient Roman chariot racing stadium.

Circus Maximus played there to an estimated audience of 500,000.

The Stones show is being promoted by D’Alessandro e Galli.

The act’s global tour, currently stalled due to the death of Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott, is being promoted by AEG Live.

The Stones are also confirmed to headline the Pinkpop Festival in The Netherlands and TW Classic Festival in Belgium.
