Allman Brothers Nix Remaining Beacon Gigs

This is not a good day for fans of The Allman Brothers Band. The legendary Southern rock group has postponed its remaining shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre so that Gregg Allman can recover from bronchitis.

Allman was noticeably missing from the band’s Friday and Saturday Beacon gigs. Now the remaining dates scheduled for March 25-26 & 28-29 have been postponed.

Even though ticket holders can receive refunds at points of purchase, The Allman Brothers Band is advising fans that tickets will be honored at “soon-to-be-announced rescheduled engagements.” So there is still hope that the Allmans will complete their Beacon run. It just won’t be this week.
