Eminem & Rihanna Add More Co-Headline Dates

Look out – the creature known as “The Monster Tour” is even bigger than we initially thought. Eminem and Rihanna have doubled the number of shows on their co-headline excursion by adding second nights all three previously announced markets.

The additional nights are now on their schedule thanks to “overwhelming demand.”

Here’s what the itinerary looks like now, with the new dates bolded:  

Aug. 7 – Pasadena, Calif., Rose Bowl     
Aug. 8 – Pasadena, Calif., Rose Bowl     
Aug. 16 – East Rutherford, N.J., MetLife Stadium     
Aug. 17 – East Rutherford, N.J., MetLife Stadium     
Aug. 22 – Detroit, Mich., Comerica Park     
Aug. 23 – Detroit, Mich., Comerica Park

Eminem is supporting his eighth full-length album, 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Of course he and Rihanna are expected to appear on stage together during the co-bill tour to perform the track “The Monster.” The tune is the fourth song Eminem and Rihanna have teamed up on together. Their other collaborations include “Love the Way You Lie,” “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)” and “Numb.”

Rihanna is reportedly working on the follow-up to her seventh studio album, 2012’s Unapologetic.

Ticketmaster, Facebook, venues and radio stations are all offering presales that began today. The general onsale is scheduled Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m. local time.
