ETEP Off To Flying Start

If the European Talent Exchange is going to continue breaking records, as it’s done every year since it started in 2003, then it could hardly have got off to a better start.

Last year ETEP provided 103 artists with 324 shows. After only two months, this year’s programme has already secured nearly one-third of that total with 57 acts sharing 103 shows.

“A surprisingly high number of confirmed shows already,” ETEP organiser Ruud Berends observed, although this year there should be more shows on offer.

Sweden’s Bravalla Festival, Portugal’s Super Bock Super Rock, the UK’s Bestival, Spain’s Bizkaia International Music Experience and Germany’s Happiness Festival are among the festivals that have joined since last year.

So far, the UK’s Jungle is doing best with eight shows, three ahead of Germany’s Milky Chance and Irish act Kodaline.
