Four Stabbed At Knitting Factory Show

Police in Reno, Nev., are investigating a potentially gang-related fight during a Spring Bling concert at the  March 28 that led to four people being hospitalized.

Three men and a woman were stabbed during the show, Sgt. Andy Carter told the Reno Gazette-Journal, before the fight eventually moved outside the building.

“The entrance of the building leads to an alleyway, and it just poured out to the alleyway,” he said. “It seemed like it was chaotic by the time we got there.”

The victims were taken to a nearby hospital – one with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries, the paper noted.

Other people were assaulted  during the fight but reportedly didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

Carter added police think the fight may have been gang-affiliated, but that an investigation into the matter is ongoing.

Greg Marchant, Knitting Factory Entertainment’s vice president and COO, told Pollstar he wasn’t able to directly comment on the matter as there are many conflicting reports surfacing and a police investigation is ongoing.
