O.A.R. + Phillip Phillips Book Co-Headline Tour
“Really excited to say @ofarevolution and I are going on tour this summer for some awesome shows! Come on out and have a great time with us!” Phillips tweeted earlier today.
Phillips and O.A.R. both have new albums coming out before the co-bill launches. Phillips’ sophomore LP, Behind the Light, is due out March 19 on 19 Recordings/Interscope. He’s been busy showing off the first track from the album, “Raging Fire.” After returning to his old stomping grounds to play the tune for the “American Idol” audience earlier this month, his next stop is “Conan” on Tuesday, April 1.
O.A.R. will put out its eighth studio album, The Rockville LP, June 10 on Vanguard Records. The release features the debut single “Peace.” You’ll have the chance to ask the members of O.A.R. about the new album and the band’s tour with Phillips during a Tumblr chat on Wednesday, April 2. O.A.R. promises more details about the chat will be revealed Tuesday.
