When Will Paleo Sell Out?

Given that it’s sold out 15 times in a row, there seems little doubt that Switzerland’s Paleo-Nyon Festival will do so again. The only question seems to be when.

Last year, three of the six 35,000-capacity days sold out within hours of the onsale.

Danny Hassenstein, Paleo’s international talent buyer, says he’ll be happy if this year’s fest sells out “before July 22,” the day it starts.

For the record, the quickest sellout of a single day was 2011, when it took 11 minutes to shift a bill headed by David Guetta.

The least time it’s taken to sell out all six days was two hours in 2009, beating the six hours it took the previous year.

The possibly record-breaking lineup for July 22-27 includes Elton John, The Black Keys, The Prodigy, James Blunt, M.I.A., and Thirty Seconds To Mars.
